Coincidence...

Okay, here's my first real post...

I was reading a book just now when I came across a passage:

"That I had ended up here this day, talking with him, seemed an odd coincidence.  Coincidence.  The word stopped me.  I thought about how our reactions to coincidences mold our lives.  How should I react to this one?"

This passage stopped me... It's so true how little things that happen to us that may seem so insignificant at the time can have such drastic affects on our lives, leaving a lasting impact on not only ourselves but to those around us as well.  Maybe you happen to meet a distant aquaintence at some random place... an exchange of greeting leads to a longer conversation... a friendship develops into a lifelong relationship with your friends becoming his/her friends, and maybe one of them marries another...  Maybe you happen to be on a flight to visit a family and you happen to sit next to someone that ends up making a big impact on your business... perhaps he/she becomes a lifelong mentor.   Or maybe you lose their business card, and the relationship never develops.  Whatever the coincidence may be, little things can often lead to unfathomable consequences.  What will you do next time you're in such a predicament?  What will I do....
